I am a maker of things. From a Fine arts degree in Sculpture, to a film on set miniature model maker, to a mum raising twins and making picture books.

Books can bring such joy. From the sharing of a story between an adult and a child, to getting lost in one all by yourself. I love the play between words and pictures. The way words plant a seed which is brought to life by the visual tale. The more I have found pleasure in reading good childrens’ books, the stronger my desire to be a part of making them has become.

I’ve had the good fortune of being able to be at home with our girls. They’re nearly 8 now! I juggled their preschool years with the creation of two picture books and am now spending their school hours focusing on two new passions. Mountain biking and Painting. I’m loving what they bring to my life. So playful and challenging! I look forward to seeing where they take me.
